01 Approximately 20％ of all students will be international students (grades 10~12)
Students will work alongside, and discuss with a culturally diverse group of people to help develop and and foster a “global outlook” whilst also keeping a “heart rooted in community.”
※About 20 international students per grade
02Teaching staff with a wealth of international experience
Our teachers come from different backgrounds and nationalities, with some having previous experience in IBDP schools from around the world. The teaching staff all work together to design, create and develop a varied and innovative style of learning.
03 Learning in English (except Japanese class)
All 2nd year junior high and 1st year high school students will undergo overseas training.
They will enhance their practical and conversational English communication skills, in order to be able to deliberate thoughts and ideas with confidence and clarity.
04Consider to introduce an international educational program.
05Project-based learning in cooperation with international organizations
Students tackle both local and global issues using the skills and mindset acquired through the hands-on learning style employed at HiGA. This enables our students to be able to take a leading role in moving forward and shaping a better world.
06Living and learning in a full boarding system
Students will live alongside their peers, of different ages and nationalities, creating friendships and experiences that go beyond borders and to last a life time.
